- We should pay attention to the following aspects when installing LED display:
I Operating current:
(1) Because LED has the characteristic that the current increases rapidly with the slight increase of voltage
(2) Excessive current will cause the LED lamp to burn down or the brightness to decay
(3) When in use, a resistor shall be added in series with the LED lamp to limit the current
(4) The LED shall work under the same current conditions. Generally, it is recommended that the current through the LED is 15-19ma
II Brightness test and product instructions:
(1) When detecting and using LEDs, each LED must be provided with the same current, i.e. constant current detection, in order to ensure consistent detection brightness. The current should not exceed 20mA, and the current of 15-19ma should be used.
(2) When using light and color separation products, please classify and use them according to the order of bin numbers. LEDs with different bin numbers cannot be mixed in the same product to avoid differences in color, brightness and voltage. If mixed bin numbers are to be used, adjacent bin numbers can be put together, but try to avoid them.
III Precautions against static electricity:
(1) All equipment and instruments in contact with LED must be well grounded, especially the soldering iron and tin furnace must be well grounded.
(2) Operators must wear grounded anti-static wrist, anti-static shoes and anti-static clothes.
(3) The anti-static wrist must be tested every day, and the unqualified wrist must be replaced.
(4) If the LED is damaged by static electricity, it will show some bad characteristics: the leakage current increases, the static forward voltage decreases or rises, and it does not light up or glow normally under low current test.
IV Led welding conditions:
(1) Soldering iron welding: the tip temperature of soldering iron (up to 30W) shall not exceed 300 ℃; The welding time shall not exceed 3 seconds; The welding time shall not exceed 3 seconds; The welding position shall be at least 3mm away from the colloid.
(2) Immersion welding: the maximum temperature of immersion welding is 260 ℃; Immersion welding time shall not exceed 5 seconds; The immersion welding position shall be at least 2mm away from the colloid.
V Pin forming method:
(1) The bracket must be 2mm away from the colloid to bend, so as not to cause the colloid to crack or damage the internal structure.
(2) The support forming must be completed by fixture or professional personnel.
(3) Support forming must be completed before welding.
(4) The forming of the support shall ensure that the pins and spacing are consistent with those on the circuit board.
Vi Led installation method:
(1) Pay attention to the arrangement of external lines of various devices to prevent wrong polarity installation. The device shall not be too close to the heating element
(2) Be sure not to install the LED when the pin is deformed.
(3) When deciding to install in the hole, calculate the size and tolerance of the hole distance on the face and circuit board to avoid excessive pressure on the support.
(4) When installing the LED, it is recommended to use the guide sleeve for positioning.
(5) Before the welding temperature returns to normal, any vibration or external force on the LED must be avoided.
VII clean:
Special care must be taken when cleaning the colloid with chemicals, because some chemicals damage the colloid surface and cause discoloration, such as trichloroethylene, acetone, etc. It can be wiped and impregnated with ethanol for no more than 3 minutes at room temperature. VIII Operating and storage temperature:
(1) LED lamps LED topr-25 ℃ ~ 85 ℃, tstg-40 ℃ ~ 100 ℃
(2) LED displays topr-20 ℃ ~ 70 ℃, tstg-20 ℃ ~ 85 ℃
(3) Out-door LED lamps pixel tube topr-20 ℃ ~ 60 ℃, tstg-20 ℃ ~ 70 ℃
